Andres Talavera
Andres Talavera is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience. With experience in a multi disciplinary clinic, general psychological services and community-based grief work, Andres supports clients through trauma anxiety, depression, mood, and personality disorders.
He is educated with an undergraduate degree from Colorado College in psychology and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Northern Colorado.
Andres is equipped with an eclectic skill set that allows him to address a variety of disorders including PTSD anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Andres has completed EMDR training and provides EMDR therapy. Andres is also Level 1 Gottman trained.
His time at the Psychological Service Clinic provided him with experience working with an array of diagnoses, while his time at the grief center allowed him to specialize in helping clients cope with loss and trauma. Andres has worked with a variety of ages, ranging from 12-year-olds to individuals in their 80s. He utilizes a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on a client-centered approach and evidence-based modalities tailored to each client and their unique needs.
