College can feel like a lot. Classes, deadlines, jobs, friendships, family, and figuring out the future all pile up quickly. It’s exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, and sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. You don’t have to go through it on your own.
Our practice supports college students across Virginia with both counseling and medication management. We work with students who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, focus challenges, or who just need someone to talk with in a supportive space.
As part of our care, every client also gets free access to a wellness app. This gives you practical tools, exercises, and resources right on your phone so you can practice healthy habits and manage stress between sessions.
We have providers trained in CBT, EMDR, and solution focused therapies, so we can tailor our approach to what works best for you. To help you decide if we’re the right fit, we also offer free 15-minute consult calls that you can schedule directly through our website.
The students who tend to get the most out of working with us are those who want to feel better and are open to trying new ways of taking care of themselves. You don’t need to have the answers already. We’ll meet you where you are and help you build strategies that fit your life.
If you’re ready for some extra support and want to feel more balanced, we’d be glad to help. Follow us on Instagram @ahchope20 and on Facebook at ahchope to learn more and stay connected.
