Amy Tierney specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma/PTSD, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with prolonged grief due to the death of a loved one, insecurity in a relationship, addictions, low self-esteem, generalized anxiety, or feel stuck and unable to move forward, Amy is committed to partnering with you to unpack the relational origin of your symptoms.
Amy also specializes in working with twins and multiples. She understands the unique nuances involved in the twin relationship along with common challenges faced by parents of twins.
While Amy’s approach to treatment is grounded in psychoanalytic theory, she draws from a wide variety of treatment modalities based on individual needs.
