Hello, I'm Amy. What is it that you aren't getting from your environment that leads you to overwork, overthink, isolate, or continue habits you already know don't serve you? To communicate better in your relationships, I will use what Iâve learned to help guide you in how to disagree without hurting, highlight what is already working, and uncover the struggles you face to get to the core reasons why we get stuck. I help people with ADHD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. The label doesn't matter as much as you do.
I will teach you how to listen and understand each other to begin the hard work of healing broken hearts, betrayals, and past trauma. The most important component of good therapy is to feel a connected and collaborative relationship with your therapist. And that is what I have provided to my clients for nearly two decades of mental health work.
Live the least secretive life you can. Shame and guilt will magnify your stress enormously. Suffering in silence is terrible. These types of problems don't get smaller; they usually get bigger if left untreated. I encourage you, whatever your struggles are, don't keep them to yourself. Share your story with someone you can trust.
