Hello, I'm Amy. I am so glad you are here. Seeking help is a hopeful, important step in acknowledging that something is causing you pain or getting in the way of you living your most authentic and fulfilling life. Our relationship is built on my trust that you have the ability to heal from life’s challenges, even when you may feel confused, angry, deeply sad, worried, bereaved, or overwhelmed. I believe you are the expert on you, and I will partner with you to help you uncover the tools you already possess to explore ways to cope with stressors and discover new ways to nurture and care for yourself and your loved ones.

My perspective is revealed through a holistic, person-centered, and restorative lens. I am deeply invested in knowing you as a whole person, and I will encourage you to draw upon your own unique strengths and gifts in your treatment. I strive to create an open, collaborative therapeutic relationship.

My specialties and areas of interest include repairing stressed family and other interpersonal relationships; navigating the stressors and harms of patriarchal capitalism and colonized institutions of power; emotional and behavioral well-being for people across the lifespan, including the treatment of depression and anxiety; and the restoration of relationships after harm, nurtured by the belief that we are all much more, much greater than the worst mistake we have ever made, and that we all have the right to heal and evolve, whenever we are ready to do so.

If you have caused harm to another, or have experienced harm from another, and wish to explore ways to process that experience or brainstorm ways to repair harm and restore relationships, I am honored to walk with you on your journey to restoration and recovery.

My work often draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing, empowerment theory, and restorative justice practices, rooted in the powerful work of global indigenous communities, with gratitude. I have professional and clinical expertise in working with people who have experienced harm from systems of power, working with the bereaved, treating people across the lifespan, and I am a certified practitioner in CBT and MBSR. I look forward to knowing you.
