Hello, I'm Amy. I love this work! With a 20+ year career as a college professor, I was driven by my passion for helping others. This strong desire to assist in a deeper, more holistic way led me to pursue counseling. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Building a strong, trusting, and collaborative relationship with my clients is of the utmost importance to me. I strive to support and guide you while fostering introspection, insight, and personal growth. My hope is to help you empower yourself to more effectively manage life challenges, overcome obstacles, and, if needed, make changes that will allow you to fully flourish in your life.
I have experience working with clients aged 18-75 with concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-worth, personal identity, life purpose and meaning, life transitions, traumatic experiences, relationship issues, and life stressors. Additionally, I specialize in family relationships, grief/bereavement, stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
I'm glad you visited the SonderMind website in search of the support you need at this time. Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness but rather one of courage and strength. I am committed to always engaging with you from a place of empathy, authenticity, and non-judgment. I look forward to hearing from you!
