Amber Gordon

Hey! My name is Amber and I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with almost a decade of experience in the nursing field. I graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. I specialize in medication management and therapy with a particular interest in those who have suffered through trauma.

My philosophy is that there is a deep connection between the mind, body, and soul. I believe you cannot effectively heal one without placing focus on the others. I pride myself in approaching patient care from a more holistic standpoint. While medication can be helpful in a patient's treatment plan, I equally advocate for therapy, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Most importantly, I take time to listen to you.
