Amber Eberhardt

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, SUDP
Last Updated 30+ days ago

Allow me to serve you through telemedicine counseling. I believe you are the expert of your life, and I can help guide you to your own goals. My primary value in counseling is self-determination and allowing you to define your treatment needs and end point. My life motto is "every passing minute is another chance to turn it around" which helps me be open, compassionate, and accepting.

In my clinical framework, I use attachment, developmental and cognitive theories. Certain life experiences are processed in difference ways dependent on our age, trauma, life history, relational interactions and biology therefore it is important to honor a person's life experience. Part of being a human is that we are in recovery throughout life and my focus is to assist clients in learning new ways to process life events to identify and re-establish meaningful, healed roots.
