Accepting clients Last Updated 4 days ago

Hello! I’m Amber. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and my training is strengths-based, trauma informed, and recovery-perspective grounded. I have practiced extensively with individuals and families working to make treatment a collaborative process. I specialize in the field of eating disorders treating adolescents and adults, individuals and families. I have worked in all levels of care for over a decade, allowing me to treat an array of symptoms and co-occurring conditions. In addition to treating eating disorders, I am also passionate about working with those experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, pre/post-natal, life transitions, self-esteem, self-growth and goal setting. As a LCSW, I can also provide clinical supervision to therapists in training.

My passion being a therapist is informed by the many transitions in my life. I bring much of who I am into my work and like to establish a genuine, deep, and unconditional relationship with my clients. I believe in the power of deep connection to transform and shape our lives. My approach embodies authenticity, humor, empathy, and honesty. I am your biggest fan and I am also the person who will empower you to grow into yourself. I employ an eclectic approach to therapy, including:

Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT & CBT-E)

Family Based Treatment (FBT)
