Hello!
Whether you're healing from trauma, want support in life transitions, are struggling with your mental health, or ready to change your patterns, having a space that is confidential and non-judgmental to explore can be a game changer. I strive to hold space where you can feel safe and welcome to show up as your full, complex self. College is a unique time in your life that gives you the space to reflect on your upbringing and work on new skills. It offers new challenges, but also a freedom to have more control over your relationships and boundaries going forward, which makes it a perfect time for counseling!
My specialty is working with trauma survivors--people who have experienced dating violence, sexual assault and/or sexual abuse as children. I am really familiar with local resources, including Title IX and campus processes, which I am happy help you navigate. I work extensively with young adults, college students, people of color and LGBTQ+ folks and practice from an anti-oppression framework.
I know how much courage it takes to reach out, and even consider opening up to a new person, but I believe it is worth it. If I seem like a good fit, I really hope to hear from you!
