Amanda McKinney

I am the director of Modern Mental Health, which is a group of psychologists and trainees (doctoral students in psychology) who provide individual therapy and psychological testing/assessment. We are located in the Purdue Research Park, which is bus-accessible and less than 10 minutes from Purdue's campus.

Please visit our website for information about each of our psychologists. We are always accepting referrals for testing/assessment; however, we do sometimes have a waitlist for therapy.

Currently, with the COVID-19 public health concern, we are only offering video sessions and no in-person office visits.

My therapeutic style can be described as warm, friendly, and casual. I work best with individuals who are going through some sort of life stage/change and struggling with aspects of this. I love working with people who are working toward self-improvement and reaching their goals. I specialize in working with LGBTQ populations, and most of my caseload identify as queer and/or trans.
