Amanda Martin
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Clinical Social Work/Therapists
One of my passions about my role as a therapist is to normalize therapy, why else would I do this! I think that this is something that my clients can bring away from their sessions. (Que cliche sunshine and rainbows that can be very real when you choose therapy, a very big and hard step).
Everyone needs a little support every now and then, but sometimes, events happen that make you feel like you need a little more support, or college feels a little more overwhelming that you expected. I get it, because I've been there. Trauma and negative thinking patterns are treatable and can be managed and I often find that with the use of EMDR and other techniques that I engage in, my clients often feel much better.
I work with individuals to manage significant life stressors or traumatic events or histories that continue to impact or trigger you and decide to pop up and cause trouble in unexpected moments. I also work with pregnancy and postpartum concerns!
