Amanda Gray
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that specializes in working with teenagers (13+), young adults, and adults. I utilize approaches that have been proven through research to be successful. My main approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which looks to identify patterns in our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and intervene in unhealthy cycles by bringing about awareness and teaching coping skills.
Much of my work focuses on helping my clients manage daily life stressors, anxiety, depression, life adjustments, and relationship issues. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental, safe, and client-centered environment to help you set personalized goals and achieve them. I believe my experiences in various mental health settings (juvenile justice, outpatient, inpatient, intensive in-home services, etc.) have further shaped my skills and allow me to bring multiple productive perspectives to our sessions.
