Dr. Amanda de Armas
Hello, I am Dr. Amanda de Armas, a clinical psychologist who provides individual and family based virtual sessions to young adults. I hold a license in Florida and I am also PsyPact certified to seeing clients and families across 39 states. I know that taking your new next steps takes some time. It is just as important finding a great college and education as well as managing your physical and mental health. It can also sometimes be challenging to manage the study, work, tests, and life adjustments. I personally have enjoyed my undergraduate and graduate studies throughout the years, but I have also had some challenges and mental burnouts with it too. You aren't alone when making a new life transition, and I am here to support the emotional thoughts, feelings, and even tough decisions you have to make for your future. I help students manage depression, anxiety, anger, adjustments, and life transitions. I also provide therapies that direct towards helping with lack of concentration, time management, performance anxiety, stress, and even learning how to establish healthy assertive communication skills with family, professors, and peers. I want to be a guide during your upcoming years as you are growing and navigating through your own professional and career experiences. I do have other prior experiences working with young adults managing difficult cultural adjustments when living in a new settings. Just know, that I am here for you and want to listen, as well as provide a safe virtual space for you to share the successes and challenges you face. I do provide individual and even family virtual sessions in both English and Spanish languages. I also offer a short free phone or video call consultation in case you are not ready to book with me yet. If you have any other questions or would like to know more about my therapy services, feel free to email, call, or check out my website. I can't wait until we can start on your journey into a better and balance college lifestyle that suits your mental and emotional needs.
