Amanda has 17 years of nursing experience in a variety of settings, including psychiatry, medical-surgical nursing, oncology, and critical care. She obtained her MSN in Psychiatry from Indiana Wesleyan University and her BSN from Ohio University. Amanda has worked in community mental health and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. She specializes in PTSD, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Amanda believes in inclusive, equitable care for all humans and has experience with LGBTQ+ individuals. She is understanding and kind in her approach to helping people through mental health challenges. She empowers patients to achieve their mental health goals by discussing the root causes of their mental health concerns. Amanda believes improving health and well-being begins with collaborative, compassionate care.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys adventuring with her family and their dogs, tending to her plants, listening to history podcasts, and enjoying nature.
