Life as a college student can be so stressful and demanding. You have so many roles that you are expected to show up in and be perfect. Classes, family, friends, choosing a career, creating a network... It can feel overwhelming and like you don't know where to start or even what to do.

As your therapist, I'll bring a warm, compassionate, nonjudgmental demeanor into session to help you navigate through all of these thoughts, feelings, and expectations. We'll ground our work in building compassion and forgiveness for yourself and others while working through steps to manage these expectations and responsibilities.

It can be so overwhelming when you are carrying the weight of confusion, guilt, and shame. I'll hold space for you to explore the different aspects of yourself to figure out what matters most to you without judgment and shame. While you're building up a sense of compassion, I'll hold the space and compassion for you.

Hi, I'm Allyson! I'm a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #136508) and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #12918) under the supervision of Elizabeth McGinnis, LPCC 8285. To find out more about me, check out EMPsychotherapy.net
