Inadequate. Incompetent. Undeserving. No matter what you do, you can’t get the thoughts to stop.

You’ve put in the work.

You’ve tried to think positive, be positive, be “happy,” but the thoughts still live in your head, rent-free, day after day, controlling your every move, saying, “Listen to me, I’m the captain now.”
You’ve also given your all to your education, your career, and your relationships. You did everything you thought you were supposed to do.
And yet, life isn’t getting any easier. Make it make sense!

I specialize in helping those who are anxious and overwhelmed learn to recognize and honor their needs – that may mean: giving themselves permission to slow down, scale back, set healthy boundaries, go after what they truly want, and be themselves (unapologetically).

There isn’t any magic to therapy (as much as I’d fancy being a sort of Dumbledore), and you certainly can’t “obliviate” your childhood trauma. You need a new strategy. You can learn ways to regain control of your life, no wands required. You can feel excited about life again, more connected to yourself and others, and engaging in what you truly care about.

As an African American psychologist and military spouse, I bring a wealth of unique experience and expertise from California, Florida, Mississippi, and Georgia that wouldn’t be easy to find elsewhere. I currently am authorized to practice interjurisdictionally through PSYPACT, and provide individual psychotherapy services via telehealth to adults in PSYPACT-participating states and territories.

I would love for you to share your journey with me so I can help you get what you deserve: better relationships, self-care, and greater life satisfaction. We’ll both bring our genuine selves and I’ll make this challenging process feel a whole lot easier.
