Allison Simon
Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how to manage their relationships, careers and their lives. With my 25 years of experience working in diverse settings, we can work together to empower you and free you from things that may be holding you back. Together we will put a plan in place to help you move forward and reach your goals. I offer an inclusive, compassionate and safe space with in-person and virtual appointments to suit your schedule. My goal is to help you live a better life. It might mean learning to set boundaries, managing stress, anxiety or depression more effectively, working through a loss, or life transition, or helping you change a pattern of behavior that is keeping you stuck. I have experience helping people with challenges such as adjustment and transition challenges, school-related issues, behavior challenges, grief, trauma and other family and personal problems. I use a strengths-based, collaborative and solution focused approach. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, trauma-based therapies and other approaches.
