Welcome! I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support takes courage, especially when you’re opening up to someone new. As a college student navigating academic pressures, questions about identity, shifting friendships, family and social expectations, and questions about the future, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or unsure where to turn. My goal is to make that first step feel a little easier by sharing more about who I am and how I approach therapy.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Each person’s story, strengths, and struggles are different. We’ll work together to figure out what’s most important to you and tailor our sessions around your needs and goals at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate — we’ll build trust, explore with curiosity what’s been hard, and notice the strengths and insights that are already there.

One of my core beliefs is that multiple things can be true at once. This is especially relevant in college when so much is changing. You may feel confident and still have doubts, be excited about new possibilities and still feel anxious. Therapy is a place where we can hold those mixed feelings without judgment — and gently unpack them to help you feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to yourself.

In our work, you can expect to feel seen, heard, and supported. My style is warm, genuine, and non-judgmental. I strive to create a safe space where you can explore emotions, gain insight, and develop tools for managing life’s challenges. Over time, clients often experience greater confidence, clarity, and connection — both with themselves and others.

My approach is practical, down-to-earth, and supportive. I work with students navigating stress, anxiety, ADHD, relationships, identity, grief, and life transitions. I also have a special focus on helping those living with or adjusting to chronic illness, which can make college feel especially complicated. Together, we can work on:
• Adjusting to health changes or new diagnoses
• Managing uncertainty, medical demands, or caregiving responsibilities
• Coping with overwhelm and isolation
• Grieving losses with compassion
• Finding ways to reconnect with creativity, purpose, and joy

With graduate degrees and experience in both Art Therapy and Social Work, I am able to offer both verbal and non-verbal approaches to therapy. Art therapy offers a gentle, expressive way to explore thoughts and feelings that may be hard to put into words. Through collage, painting, journaling, or other creative methods, clients often uncover unexpected insights and find relief. No artistic experience is required. You can learn more about art therapy at arttherapy.org/what-is-art-therapy.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to start therapy — just a willingness to begin. I’d love to get to know you, hear your stories, and help you discover more clarity, balance, and confidence as you move through this chapter of your life.
