Allen Toy, LCSW

Allen is a Master's level therapist with a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Evansville. He is licensed as a Clinical Social worker in the state of Indiana and has over 40 years of clinical experience. He accepts clients of all ages - from pediatrics to geriatrics. Allen is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional with specialized training in the neuropsychologically informed treatment of anxiety.

He is also a Certified ADHD Treatment Professional and has worked extensively with children, adolescents and their families to help them overcome obstacles related to ADHD and learning disabilities, to reach their full potential. Allen works with parents to help them develop more effective communication and parenting styles.

Allen works with adults to address issues of depression, anxiety, interpersonal dynamics and adjustment to life changing physical events such as stroke, brain injury and dementia. Specific therapeutic interests include: brain trauma recovery, psychological trauma and PTSD recovery, ADD/ADHD coaching and cognitive therapy for depression and anxiety.
