We are a practice specializing in working with children, adolescents, young adults. We enjoy working with college students and young adults to help them cope with challenges that arise during this time of life. Anxiety and depression are common at this age, and we help many young adult clients navigate the challenges of this time of life. Our primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral, which involves the development of healthy coping skills, although we incorporate other therapeutic approaches into treatment as needed.
For many students, there are many decisions to make as you move on from adolescence to adulthood and begin to think about what you want for your future. Sometimes it doesn't happen as quickly as you'd like, or you just aren't sure what the right path is for you. You may feel anxious, depressed, or confused at times when things are not going how you had imagined. Perhaps you have experienced trauma in your life and are having difficulty coping with your emotions. We have expertise treating anxiety and trauma, and during therapy, we can help you sort through your thoughts and feelings. We will help you work through your challenges and assist you with the development of healthy coping skills, which can provide you with ways to manage your emotions so that you can identify and reach your goals, one day at a time.
