Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Accepting clients Last Updated 3 days ago

As a social worker at a pediatric hospital for the last 7 years, I have had the honor and privilege to be seen as a safe and compassionate support for children, adolescents, and families during times of stress, trauma, and grief. With a trauma-informed Solution-Focused therapeutic lens, I have worked closely with individuals in acute distress from an assault or a new diagnosis. I also have significant experience working with LGBTQ+ youth and neurodivergent youth around exploring identities and how those identities impact their interactions with family and in their day to day lives.

From my experience as a trauma-informed solution-focused social worker, I have learned the importance of client centered care. I will meet you where you are at in life and tailor my therapeutic techniques towards the goals that you set. I will provide a safe and supportive space while utilizing therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to help reduce symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety.

I identify as a queer, white, cisgender, able-bodied social worker. I am actively engaging in anti-racist and disability justice work, as well as support of transgender rights in a professional setting as well as in my day to day life.
