I believe, mental health is not a destination but a journey and I find joy in aiding my clients through their journey of personal growth and seeing them flourish. Having lived and worked internationally for the majority of my life, I bring a unique global perspective to my work. I am passionate about my role as an advocate for mental health and specialize in: Depression & Anxiety, Trauma, Women’s Issues, Relationships, Academic Success, Faith Issues, Adjustment Disorders and Addictions. In my role as a therapist, I view you as the authority on your own life, recognizing that my knowledge and skills can support your journey towards healing. Our main objective in working together is to cultivate a greater sense of empowerment within you so you can reach your full potential. I have obtained my Bachelor of Psychology degree from Brigham Young University and received my master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University in Illinois. I apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology practices in a holistic, non-judgmental and solution focused approach to develop deep connections with my clients as they heal and find peace through life’s challenges.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
