Ali Swoish, LMHC
My clinical work is grounded in disability justice & the neurodiversity paradigm. Taken together, these movements teach us that diversity of bodies & brains are essential to the human experience. I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, identity exploration & transitional stress. I have a particular passion for working with performers, including dancers, actors & other creatives, as well as athletes.
I approach therapy from a relational psychodynamic perspective, meaning I help clients understand how past relationships & early experiences shape their current emotional well-being, relationships & sense of self. My commitment to intersectionality, accessibility & autonomy means that I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique identities & desires.
