Do you often struggle to ask for help or accept help when it is offered? Do you feel that your depression or anxiety is hindering your daily functioning in any way? Are you tired of your addiction controlling your life? Taking the step to engage in counseling takes a lot of courage and strength especially when things appear overwhelming. Reaching out for counseling is the first step to embracing wellness. I strive to provide a supportive and calming space to help you navigate the challenges and stressors that influence your substance use and/or mental health.
I am here to help you cope with and overcome issues of depression, ADHD, adjustment, anxiety, addictions, anger, and trauma. I also have experience working with clients within the criminal justice system and am also a substance abuse professional, SAP, that helps those working for the DOT begin the “return to duty process” to regain or obtain employment.
My focus is to help educate you about mental health issues and the disease of addiction to become better equipped to combat triggers that may influence your substance use & mental health symptoms. I will work with you to establish a plan for change, coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, & goals that will help you achieve the life you want to live.
