Alexandria Miller, PhD
I am Dr. Alexandria Miller (she/her) and I am a Black, queer clinical psychologist in Boston, MA. I've been described as warm, enthusiastic, compassionate, and empowering. I take a collaborative stance with clients; we work together to build skills that increase your well-being and help you to live a more values-consistent, meaningful life. My job is to support and empower you as you move towards healing. I am passionate about social justice and liberation, emphasize the influence of intersectionality on mental health struggles, and center the voices and experiences of minoritized individuals.
I provide culturally-responsive, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed individual psychotherapy. I take an integrative approach and I utilize cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and acceptance-based behavioral interventions. I have specialized training helping individuals move through grief, OCD, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma. We will work together to tailor your treatment to your experience.
I specialize in working with minoritized individuals (BIPOC, LGBTQ, disabled, neurodivergent, etc), Veterans, and other mental health professionals, especially those with border identities (multiracial, bisexual, etc), who are intersectionally minoritized, and who identify as a religious minority. I encourage you to reach out to see if we are a good fit.
