Alexa Myta
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience across diverse settings, including schools, community health centers, and hospitals. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I work with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients across the lifespan who present with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and co-occurring mental health challenges.
My clinical background includes expertise in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders.
I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences. My goal is to help individuals clarify their values and identify meaningful goals. I collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, adapting and updating them as needed to ensure ongoing progress and growth.
