Counseling is a space used to move into deeper connection with yourself and to release old patterns of being that no longer serve you. I believe when you gain self-regulation skills, self-awareness, and self-acceptance, then you can create the change you seek and experience more freedom/ease. My hope is that you feel safe and fully accepted in my presence so you can explore the more painful parts of your life, while also celebrating your strengths. My approach to counseling is client driven and collaborative. I use emotion-focused, mindfulness and somatic-based, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed interventions with clients.
In the past 9 years, I have worked in many healing-oriented spaces and received training in various modalities including wilderness therapy, yoga, and gestalt therapy. My experiences have both taught me about myself and allowed me to serve people facing a wide range of concerns. I passionately provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and affirming space to all folks.
