Hello! I'm Akhila (she/they), a therapist who believes in creating creating a safe space for genuine connection and growth. I primarily work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, isolation, perfectionism, life transitions, or relationship issues. I welcome your full range of emotions, and aim to help you to experience yourself as inherently worthy of safety, respect, and deep connections with others. My practice incorporates wisdom from a variety of fields of study, allowing us to explore trauma and its impacts on our minds, bodies, and spirits from a holistic perspectives.
Healing is a unique journey for everyone. My approach draws on various modalities (including parts work, EMDR, DBT, therapeutic art, and somatic therapy) to tailor a path of self-exploration that feels authentic and affirming to your needs. Together, we can explore your feelings, values, and past through a unified lens.
Life can be difficult, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I offer a collaborative and empowering space where we can work together to cultivate self-awareness, emotional release, and help you align with your core self. Let's embark on this journey of healing and liberation – I'd be honored to be your guide.
