Ada Rodríguez
I am a bilingual/bi-cultural licensed professional counselor with twenty years experience including working at a non-profit mental health clinic, a managed care company, and a public elementary school. I was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador and moved to CT to pursue my master's degree in psychology. I have struggled with college stress, acculturation, and multiple losses in my life which have build my resiliency and increased my desire to help/guide others with life difficulties. Working in such diverse settings has strengthen my clinical expertise.
My main focus is working with women, children and families struggling with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, relationship conflicts, adjustment/acculturation, and grief/loss. I enjoy working with Spanish speaking individuals since I can connect with their story and struggles.
Call me for a free consultation and to determine if I can be of assistance. I have availability Monday through Thurs 9 am to 5 pm.
