I am passionate about supporting the mental health of college students, with over a decade of experience dedicated to this field.

We all experience difficult moments in our life journey. I am glad you are here to reflect on those moments and create space for personal growth, peace, and inner strength. I view therapy as a vital layer of support—a confidential space for self-exploration and healing. My hope is that this support empowers you to navigate life’s challenges alongside other sources of strength, such as family, friends, and community.

My approach focuses on identifying and strengthening the skills you need to manage symptoms while addressing root causes. This process helps you gain deeper insight into your behaviors, ultimately fostering lasting change. Prevention and holistic well-being are also central to my work.

I provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking personal growth and well-being. My focus is on empowering you to overcome challenges and achieve mental and emotional wellness. I believe in the power of therapy as a tool for positive change and am committed to helping you navigate your unique life journey.

I received my master’s degree in holistic psychological counseling from Bangalore University in Bangalore, India and my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I have been practicing as a licensed psychologist in Michigan since October 2013. Prior to my graduate program at Wright State University, I worked as a mental health counselor for three years in Kerala, India.

My clinical approach is integrative, incorporating perspectives and strategies from cognitive-behavioral, systems, feminist, and interpersonal frameworks. I am here to provide you with a safe space to explore the symptoms and challenges that affect your ability to have a meaningful life. I also prioritize a solution-focused approach when addressing mental health issues. It's important to consistently develop and strengthen our skills to manage various life challenges.

My areas of clinical interest are anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, holistic health, life transitions, personal growth, coping skills, and college/student transitions.

I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy services to meet your individual needs and preferences. In-person sessions are available through GR Therapy Group in Grandville, a practice with a commitment to quality care. For those who prefer the flexibility of remote support, I provide secure and confidential telehealth sessions through Headway.
