Accepting clients Last Updated 3 days ago

Abby is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 9 years of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families develop healthier ways of living. Throughout her career she has treated various issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, and relational distress (pre-marital, marital, and family).

Abby believes that therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. One of her primary roles as the therapist is to cultivate a warm, caring environment in which you, the client, feel heard, supported, and understood. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, largely drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and the Gottman Method.

Her areas of competence include anxiety, depression, grief, premarital counseling, couples counseling, and family/relational counseling.

Abby is passionate about helping others find hope and health, and she loves seeing change take place in a person’s life. If you’d like to experience healthier ways of living in your own life, please send Abby an appointment request. She is looking forward to working alongside you to meet your goals!
