Meaningful counseling addresses your emergent situation and long term issues. My substantial background as a professional in crisis intervention, emergency safety planning, and my deep knowledge of community resources helps me to respond to your immediate concern. My in depth long term counseling skills allow me assist you at any stage of your life. My internship at the MSU Psychiatric and Counseling Center has prepared me to handle a wide variety of student-centered concerns and meet the challenges of significant change and stress.
To support you as a client, I adhere to a person-centered counseling philosophy. You are the expert on your life and goals, and I act as your guide. As my client you will determine the goals to be achieved. I will use only those techniques and strategies that are evidenced-proven to aid you in reaching those goals.
Starting counseling can be a overwhelming and scary experience. I recognize that and strive to always provide you a safe and accepting place to grow.
